Ofosu Asamoah's tenure as Executive Secretary of the Labour Commission has officially come to an end as his appointment has been terminated, Channel One News has confirmed.

A former Member of Parliament for Kade under the New Patriotic Party (NPP), Mr Asamoah had served in the role since 2017, playing a pivotal part in addressing labour-related issues during his time at the Commission.

While the circumstances surrounding his dismissal remain unclear, the decision has sparked conversations within political and labour circles, with many speculating on the reasons behind the move.

Meanwhile, an official statement is yet to be released by the government.
