President John Dramani Mahama has expressed confidence in Ghana's ability to become Africa's leading hub for business process outsourcing (BPO).

Speaking on the nation's strategic advantages during the launch of the One Million Coders Programme in Accra on Wednesday April 16, Mahama highlighted Ghana's unique position on the Greenwich Meridian, its English-speaking population, and its vibrant, tech-savvy youth as key factors that make the country an ideal destination for outsourcing services. "Ghana has the potential to be Africa's premier business processing outsourcing hub.

We are strategically located on the Greenwich meridian.

We are English speaking and we have a vibrant tech-savvy youth population," Mahama stated.
