John Dramani Mahama, the flagbearer of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has called on the Electoral Commission (EC) to promptly address issues raised during the voter exhibition exercise. The NDC has highlighted several concerns since the exercise began, including discrepancies such as missing names and wrongful transfers of voters. Speaking at a gathering in Adjen Kotoku within the Amasaman constituency as part of his Greater Accra regional campaign on Wednesday, Mahama emphasized the need for the EC to intervene immediately to safeguard the integrity of the electoral process. "The EC opened the register for people to go and inspect their names. I am sorry to say there is a lot wrong with the register. The EC has to sit up so we don't have any confusion on election day. "The EC is an important institution in us having peaceful elections in this country.
