The Manhyia Palace has announced the resumption of Asantehene Otumfuo Osei Tutu II's mediation efforts aimed at resolving the protracted Bawku conflict.
The peace talks, scheduled to take place from April 28 to May 1, 2025, will be held at the Manhyia Palace in Kumasi.
In a press release issued on April 15, 2025, the Asantehene urged all stakeholders involved in the conflict to cooperate fully in the mediation process to ensure a lasting resolution.
Otumfuo's involvement is expected to bring renewed hope for peace in the troubled region.
