The Mayor of Kumasi, Hon.
Richard Ofori Agyeman, has warned livestock owners within the metropolis not to allow their livestock to move astray, effective May 1, 2025.
As part of the assembly's plans to decongest the city, he warned that any animal found in the city would be captured and fed to the prison inmates.
He explained that these animals cause public health threats such as diseases, accidents, and soil on the streets from their droppings, and they graze on lawns.
