The Living Yahweh 7th Day Sabbath Assembly (LY7DSA) on Sunday donat­ed assorted items worth over GH¢1.2 million to about 5,700 less-privileged in the country.

The items, among others included 500 bags of rice, 300 bags of maize, 4,000 printed textiles, 50 wheelchairs, 100 white canes, over 1,000 toilet­ries, beverages and tubers of yam.

Some individuals were also awarded for contributing significantly to the development of the nation.

The event, which forms part of church's bi-annual Passover and Charity Show, was aimed at providing support to Persons Living with Disabilities (PWDs), the aged, widows as well as institutions including orphanages, security services and hospitals as part of efforts in aiding ease the living condition of the less privileged in the country.
