Johnson Asiedu Nketiah, National Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), has urged Ghanaians, especially party supporters, to avoid "skirt and blouse" voting in the 2024 general elections. He revealed that some groups and individuals from the governing New Patriotic Party (NPP) are attempting to persuade voters to support John Dramani Mahama, who is leading in the presidential race, while endorsing NPP parliamentary candidates. Addressing residents and party sympathizers in the Eastern Region during his campaign, Asiedu Nketiah condemned these tactics and urged voters to support both John Dramani Mahama and NDC parliamentary candidates across the country. "Everywhere I go, I get to hear people say that President Mahama does not have a problem but we will be doing 'skirt and blouse'. Am I telling lies, I believe you've heard that as well. Those are the works of the NPP and not the NDC.
