Member of Parliament for Okaikwei Central, Patrick Yaw Boamah, has restated his dedication to youth development and education, emphasizing the critical role of information and communication technology (ICT) in shaping the future of young people in his constituency.

Speaking at a breakfast meeting with members of the clergy at the Abeka Presbyterian Church on Saturday morning, Boamah highlighted recent initiatives aimed at equipping students with digital skills, noting the increasing support from non-governmental organizations. "In our schools, we've been focusing on ICT training.

Just last week, we hosted about 300 students as part of efforts to expose them to information and communication technology. "I'm happy to note that many NGOs have partnered with us to support this initiative," he shared.

Beyond digital literacy, the MP stressed the importance of maintaining academic discipline among students to ensure improved performance in schools. "We want to ensure that their minds remain on their books so we can achieve the best academic outcomes.
