Media personality and creative entrepreneur, Kofi Okyere-Darko together with two others have been appointed as spokespersons for the National Democratic Congress (NDC) on the Creative Arts sector. The other two are, actress and Parliamentary Candidate for Tema Central Constituency, Ebi Bright, and Board Chairman of Ghana Music Right Organisation (GHAMRO), Rex Owusu Marfo, affectionately called Rex Omar. The appointment follows the official launch of the NDC's Manifesto for the 2024 general election on Saturday, August 24 at Winneba in the Central Region. The designated spokespersons have been mandated to speak on areas of the NDC 2024 Manifesto which relates to the creative sector. For this reason, the trio would engage the media to further elaborate the party's vision in the creative arts to Ghanaians.
