The Member of Parliament for Amasaman, Sedem Kweku Afenyo, has assured Samsam residents in the Ga West Municipality that the area's road network will be completed within the year.
This follows protests from residents in Samsam urging the completion of the area's road network, which they claim is in a deplorable state and negatively impacting their livelihoods.
Speaking on Channel One TV's Breakfast Daily on Friday, April 11, he highlighted the dire state of the constituency's road network.
He revealed that out of 1,680 kilometers of roads, only 80 kilometers are motorable, attributing the delay in completion to inadequate funding.
