Anthony Ahiable, the Assemblyman for the Wawaso/Wawaboi Electoral Area in the Kadjebi District of the Oti Region, has been elected as the new Presiding Member (PM) of the Kadjebi District Assembly.
Out of the 51 Assembly Members present and voting, he secured 46 "Yes" votes, representing 90.2 per cent, while 5 voted "No," representing 9.8 per cent.
This outcome followed a second round of voting, after Mr.
Budu Boakye Danquah, the Assemblyman for the Asato Electoral Area, stepped down in Ahiable's favour.
