A Chinese national and six Ghanaian employees of the Golden Dragon Casino in Osu have been arraigned before an Accra Circuit Court over an alleged GH₵440,000 game-rigging scheme.
Mu Shuai, a registered player at the casino, is accused of colluding with staff-Rudolph Ayin, Loveland Odamtten Okpoti, Joseph Addo Narh, Ibrahim Tijani, Kelvin Baidoo, and Elijah Larbi-to manipulate game outcomes over several months.
Prosecutors say suspicious win patterns triggered an internal probe, which uncovered footage of a questionable card exchange between Shuai and Narh on February 16, 2025.
According to Assistant Superintendent of Police Benjamin Baafi, a review of CCTV and casino records traced the scheme as far back as September 2024, revealing instances where the accused allegedly flouted gaming protocols to help Shuai win fraudulently.
