Madam Gloria Opoku Gyamfi, the Municipal Chief Executive (MCE), has pledged to reset the Municipal Assembly to create decent jobs for the youth, promote agro-businesses and food security, and consolidate peace and security in the Municipality.
She noted that she would engage all key stakeholders, both state and non-state actors, especially Nananom, religious leaders, security agencies, the media, assembly members, and opinion leaders, to realign the Wenchi Municipal Medium-Term Development Plan with the government's development policies and programs. Madam Gloria Opoku made this statement in her acceptance speech after the Assembly Members of Wenchi Municipal Assembly overwhelmingly endorsed her with 100 percent support in an election conducted by the Municipal Electoral Commission.
