Member of Parliament for Bosomtwe, Dr Yaw Osei Adutwum has donated an amount of GH₵100,000 to support traders affected by the devastating fire at the Adum Bluelight market.
In addition to the financial support, the MP also donated 500 bags of cement to assist in the rebuilding efforts of the market.
Traders at the Adum Bluelight section of Kumasi's Central Business District were left reeling after a massive fire destroyed the entire section of the market on Friday, March 21, 2025.
During his visit to the area to assess the damage and offer words of comfort to the traders, the former Education Minister encouraged the affected individuals to remain resilient and hopeful.
