The High Court in Koforidua, presided over by Justice Addae, has delivered a decisive ruling in favour of Frank Annoh-Dompreh, the Member of Parliament for Nsawam/Adoagyiri Constituency.
The National Democratic Congress (NDC) had vowed to use every legal means to remove the MP from Parliament.
They said the MP's declaration was not conducted in accordance with electoral laws and the correct result sheets, leading the NDC to strongly object to it.
On Tuesday, February 25, the bailiff of the Koforidua High Court, served a substituted order compelling Annoh-Dompreh, the Electoral Commission and Clerk to Parliament to appear before the Court in Koforidua.
