The management of Zoomlion Ghana Limited has strongly refuted claims alleging that the company was involved in the destruction of property belonging to some Turkish investors by individuals purported to be "Zoomlion land guards." In a statement issued by the company's Communications Directorate, Zoomlion emphasised that it operates strictly within the laws of the Republic of Ghana and remains committed to ethical business practices. "The attention of the Management of Zoomlion Ghana Limited has been drawn to a publication in the Daily Guide newspaper of Monday, April 7, 2025, alleging the destruction of property belonging to some Turkish investors by purported 'Zoomlion land guards,'" the statement said. "Management wishes to state, in no uncertain terms, that Zoomlion Ghana Limited does not employ, contract, or engage the services of land guards, nor is it involved in any unlawful or outlawed activities." Zoomlion described the publication as misleading and advised the affected parties to seek redress through the appropriate legal channels in line with the rule of law.
The company reiterated its position as a responsible corporate entity that upholds the highest standards of integrity, professionalism, and accountability in all its operations.
Zoomlion further affirmed its commitment to lawful business conduct and expressed support for the judiciary in resolving any disputes that may arise.
