The Bawku residence of the Member of for Bawku Central, , who is also the Majority Leader in , has allegedly been set on fire by some unidentified arsonists.
The report, according to multiple news portals on April 10, 2025, said the incident follows a similar attack on buildings of the police in the town.
One person reportedly perished in the arson of the police buildings, while others sustained several degrees of injuries.
Following that incident, the Member of who doubles as the Majority Leader issued a statement condemning the recent shooting incident.
