The Minority caucus in Parliament has strongly condemned what it describes as an attempted arrest of the Member of Parliament for Assin South, Rev.
John Ntim Fordjour, by officials of the National Intelligence Bureau (NIB).
In a formal petition to Speaker, Alban Bagbin, the Minority urged Parliament to censure the NIB for actions they say amount to harassment and intimidation of Members of Parliament.
The petition, signed by Minority Chief Whip, Frank Annoh-Dompreh, alleges that NIB operatives surrounded the MP's private residence on Wednesday, April 9, 2025, in a bid to apprehend him without following due parliamentary protocols.
