The Member of Parliament for Ofoase-Ayirebi, , has recounted the events that transpired at the house of the MP for Assin South, Rev John Ntim Fordjour, during an attempted arrest in connection with suspicious flights that the latter said landed in Ghana in March.
In an interview with Channel One TV on April 9, 2025, he narrated how the events unfolded.
He stated that when he arrived at the scene after receiving a distress call, he saw that the placed had been besieged by heavily-armed men in plain clothes. "… If you see the people who come to the house - you showed a few photos and I would be glad if you can show them - if you see the people who came to the house in balaclavas; some like ninjas just showing their eyes, fully armed with AK 47 et cetera.
When I was going to the house around 2pm, I had to literally manoeuvre my way through… and ask them to excuse me.
