The Minister of Communication, Digital Technology, and Innovations, , has issued a warning to Ghanaians, particularly the youth, to be cautious of online scammers impersonating politicians and public officials in fake recruitment and assistance schemes.
He urged citizens not to fall for unsolicited messages claiming to be from MPs, Ministers of State, or CEOs of State-Owned Enterprises.
According to him, it is highly unlikely for any such official to personally reach out via social media platforms like Facebook or TikTok, offering assistance or recruitment opportunities. "Let me use this opportunity to plead with my countrymen and women, especially the young people of our country.
