The Member of Parliament (MP) for Ofoase Ayirebi, , has said that unity in the (NPP) cannot be achieved through an individual, but rather through collective efforts.
Reacting to the ongoing tensions between the party leadership and Dome-Kwabenya MP, Sarah Adwoa Safo, Oppong Nkrumah challenged the party's General Secretary, Justin Frimpong Kodua's promise to unify the NPP ahead of the 2028 Election.
Speaking on Prime Morning on Joy Prime, on April 9, 2025, Oppong Nkrumah said, "I don't think any single person can bring the party together.
Anybody going around saying he is going to bring the party together should stop saying it." The MP stressed the need for a united front, regardless of personal difference among party members.
