Seven soldiers, including senior officers and a driver, have been remanded by the Suame District Court following accusations of assaulting three civilians, resulting in two deaths.

The incident, which unfolded on March 28, 2025, has sparked calls for justice from grieving families and the public.

The victims-Kwame Adu, also known as Ogee, Kwabena Sarfo, and Christian Obiri Yeboah, popularly called Kofi Yesu-were reportedly apprehended by the accused military personnel over allegations of stealing an iPhone.

They were taken to the 4th Infantry Battalion (4BN) barracks, where they allegedly endured severe beatings.
