Mustapha Gbande, the Deputy General Secretary of Operations for the main opposition National Democratic Congress (NDC), has criticized Dr. Mahamudu Bawumia's recent media engagement, describing it as a "supplementary manifesto" intended to enhance his image after failing to deliver as effectively as former President John Dramani Mahama did during his manifesto launch in the Central Region. According to Gbande, the media engagement was an attempt by the New Patriotic Party's (NPP) flagbearer to appear favorable in the eyes of Ghanaians. He added that Dr. Bawumia used the presentation of his supplementary manifesto to waste the precious time of journalists, especially on a Sunday.
