Member of Parliament for Afigya Kwabre North, Collins Adomako Mensah, has cautioned against politicising the ongoing process involving the potential removal of Chief Justice Gertrude Torkornoo.
Speaking on Channel One TV's Breakfast Daily on Tuesday, April 8, the NPP lawmaker emphasized that removing key judicial figures based on political influence could set a dangerous precedent.
His comments come on the heels of three petitions submitted to President John Dramani Mahama seeking the removal of the Chief Justice.
In response, Justice Torkornoo formally requested access to the petitions and was granted a 10-day window to respond.
