A 15-member Jamaican delegation last Thursday paid a courtesy on the Paramount Chief of the Gbese Mantse, Nii Dr Ayi Bonte II, as part of their tour of the country.
The delegation, led by Mr Frank Wiggan, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Maroon Ventures, a Travel and Tour Company based in Jamaica, is to retrace their roots and understand the cultural similarities between the two countries.
They are also to explore business opportunities and find ways to collaborate with their local counterparts in that direction.
Welcoming the delegation to his palace, Dr Nii Ayi Bonte said the history of the two countries were intertwined making the people of the same ancestry.
