Peter Lanchene Toobu, the Vice Chairman of the Defence and Interior Committee of Parliament, has criticized the Member of Parliament for Assin South, Reverend , over his recent public utterances, describing them as inappropriate for a ranking member of the committee.
According to Toobu, when he compares Rev Ntim Fordjour's recent comments to the conduct of the former chairman of the committee, Kennedy Agyapong, also a member of the , he sees a sharp contrast.
He stated that although Kennedy Agyapong is known for being outspoken, he never made any public statements that breached the legal or operational protocols of the committee.
He explained that Agyapong understood the sensitive nature of the committee's work and its connection to national security.
