The New Patriotic Party (NPP) has addressed concerns raised by former Dome-Kwabenya Member of Parliament, Sarah Adwoa Safo, regarding the postponement of her disciplinary committee hearing.
Deputy General Secretary, Haruna Mohammed confirmed that Safo was officially notified of the rescheduling.
Speaking at the party's headquarters in Accra on April 7, Mohammed emphasised that the NPP adhered to standard procedures in communicating the changes.
He revealed that a letter was delivered to Safo's legal counsel, and several calls were made to her directly to ensure she was informed. "I personally reached out to her on multiple occasions, calling her on various numbers," Mohammed stated, adding that the disciplinary committee would reconvene and set a new date, which would be communicated to Safo.
