The music star recently opened up about the challenges he faced when he first decided to pursue a career in music, revealing how his parents reacted to his decision during an appearance on The Delay Show.Olivetheboy recalled how, at the start of his journey, his mother called him in distress after seeing a flier for the launch of his first music album.
She was furious, asking why he hadn't informed her and even threatened to have him arrested for releasing the album without her knowledge.
His father, a pastor, also expressed his concerns, disapproving of the genre Olivetheboy was venturing into. "I remember my mum calling me and questioning why I made the flier for my album launch without telling her.
She even threatened to arrest me!
