Minority Leader Alexander Afenyo-Markin has called on members and sympathisers of the New Patriotic Party (NPP) not to lose hope following their recent electoral defeat, assuring them of plans to reorganize and revitalize the party.

He expressed confidence that the outcome of this reorganization process would position the NPP as a formidable political force, urging party members to reconcile and actively participate in the rebuilding efforts.

Afenyo-Markin cited the NPP's effective performance in Parliament despite its minority status as proof of the party's resilience and readiness to recapture power from the National Democratic Congress (NDC).

He also emphasised that unity, coupled with divine support, would be key to securing victory in the 2028 general elections.
