The Centre for Democratic Movement (CDM) has condemned Presidential Spokesperson Felix Kwakye Ofosu for calling Reverend John Ntim Fordjour a "clown" during a national security debate.
In a statement, the CDM described the comment as "appalling" and damaging to the dignity of the Presidency, calling it a violation of ethical standards for public officers.
The insult came amid concerns over alleged drug trafficking and money laundering involving aircraft passing through Ghanaian airspace.
Reverend Fordjour has been vocal about the need for transparency and accountability, particularly regarding national security issues.
