The disciplinary committee of the (NPP) has summoned the former Member of Parliament (MP) for Dome Kwabenya, .
A letter from the party to the former legislator indicated that she is required to appear before its disciplinary committee on Monday, April 7, 2025, at the party's headquarters in Asylum Down.
The letter stated that Adwoa Safo, a former Minister for Gender, Children and Social Protection, is to appear before the committee to assist with an investigation into a matter currently under consideration. "Pursuant to the directive of the Chairman of the Disciplinary Committee, you are hereby invited to appear before the Committee to provide assistance in an inquiry into a matter currently under its consideration," part of the letter reads.
The party also stated that the former MP should provide evidence related to the matter being investigated, adding that she may appear before the committee with her lawyer. "You are advised to present any documentary evidence or witnesses pertinent to the matter under investigation.
