Government spokesperson Felix Kwakye Ofosu has explained the two flights which have come under contention in Ghana were here due to technical reasons.

According to him, the Air Med aircraft landed at the Kotoka International Airport to fix spoiled tires, which took a number of days because engineers had to be flown into the country to get it fixed.

Making this known in a series of posts shared via social media he said "These pictures show engineers fixing damaged tyres on the landing gear of the Air Med Aircraft at the Kotoka International Airport.

The damaged parts and engineers were brought in by a different aircraft,reason why it stayed here for three days.Don't let anyone lie to you.
