Flames ripped through parts of the Talensi constituency office of the National Democratic Congress (NDC) in the Upper East Region in the early hours of Saturday, April 5, 2025, leaving a trail of destruction.
The fire, which started around 2:30 A.M., gutted significant sections of the building, including the main reception area.
Party documents, files, plastic chairs, and other vital materials were consumed by the blaze, though firefighters managed to save some equipment, including desktop computers positioned in other rooms.
While the full extent of the damage is still being assessed, the cause of the fire remains unclear. "We do not know what caused the fire.
