Civil Society Organisation, Citizen Eye Ghana (CITEG) has expressed deep concern over what it describes as the selective nature of the New Patriotic Party's (NPP) newly launched Unity Agenda, warning that such an approach could deepen existing divisions within the party rather than promote reconciliation.
In a press release dated April 4, 2025, and sighted by , the founder and president of CITEG, Alex Kwaku Tetteh, criticised a recent closed-door meeting held at the Rock City Hotel in Kwahu.
He argued that the exclusivity of the event undermines the broader objective of unifying the party. "With unity as the sole focus, such future events should be inclusive of all party stakeholders.
Selective recognition can deepen divisions rather than heal them," Tetteh said.
