The Achimota Circuit Court has called on Ghanaian security agencies to work with their Nigerian counterparts to track down a fugitive commercial sex worker allegedly involved in a human trafficking case.

This comes after 22-year-old Nicky Isabella, aka Bella, was sentenced to five years in prison for her role in the trafficking operation.

Bella was found guilty of conspiracy and two counts of human trafficking under the Human Trafficking Act, 2005.

She was convicted for luring two young Nigerian women into the country under the false pretense of securing jobs, only to force them into prostitution.
