Former Board Chairman of the Ghana Airports Company Limited, Paul Adom-Otchere, has accused the Member of Parliament for Gomoa Central in the Central Region, Kwame Asare Obeng, popularly known as , of being influenced by money to remain silent in his advocacy.
According to Adom-Otchere, who doubles as media personality and host of Good Evening Ghana on Metro TV, , who is widely known for openly criticizing the ills of government, has suddenly gone quiet due to alleged monetary inducement from the ruling government.
Speaking on his Good Evening Ghana show, Adom-Otchere maintained his position, accusing of receiving GHC 200,000 and an extra GHC 100,000 for a project in his constituency, and allegedly pocketing the funds to silence his once-vocal criticism of government.
He further claimed that has benefited from a GHC 400,000 parliamentary fund and has, as a result, lost his credibility as someone who used to hold governments accountable. ", are you the same person?
