Tension flared between the Member of Parliament for South Dayi, , and his colleague Member of Parliament for Assin South, Reverend , during a panel discussion on Metro TV on Friday, April 4, 2025.
The show began on a peaceful note but escalated into a heated exchange when the two lawmakers discussed allegations made by the Assin South MP regarding two suspicious flights that landed at Kotoka International Airport in March and departed for Gran Canaria, Spain, on March 25.
The Assin South MP maintained that his intelligence indicated the flights-an air ambulance and a private jet-might have been involved in drug trafficking or money laundering.
However, the South Dayi MP dismissed these claims as baseless.
