President John Dramani Mahama has appointed Dr.
Alhassan Iddrisu as the Acting Government Statistician, pending consultations with the Council of State.
This was announced in a statement by Felix Kwakye Ofosu, Minister for Government Communications and Spokesperson to the President, on Friday, April 4, 2025.
Before he was appointed government statistician, he served as Director of the Economic Strategy and Research Division, where he oversaw macroeconomic analysis, forecasting, policy research, and coordination of economic assessments.
