The National Democratic Congress (NDC) has accused the first respondents in an election petition case of deliberately stalling legal proceedings.
The case challenges the 2024 parliamentary election results for the Obuasi East, Ahafo Ano North, and Ahafo Ano South West constituencies in the Ashanti Region.
The controversy began after a High Court ruling ordered a recount of the disputed results from the 2024 general elections.
Following the recount, the Electoral Commission declared the New Patriotic Party (NPP) candidates as winners in the three constituencies.
