Dr Micheal Boadi Nyamekye, General Overseer of the Makers House Chapel International, has said that while prayer is essential, it shouldn't interfere with work hours.
He emphasized, however, that work-life balance for Christians is important to boost productivity.
His comments were captured in a video clip shared on X by Joy FM. "You can't use productive working hours to pray," he indicated.
Drawing a clear line between spiritual duties and professional responsibilities, Dr Nyamekye stated that if a person is employed, it is expected of them to fulfil their work obligations during working hours.
