The Achimota Roundabout to Dzorwulu stretch of the N1 Highway in Accra has seen a surge in road accidents, prompting road users and commuters to exercise caution.
On Wednesday, April 4, 2025, two vehicles were involved in an accident on this stretch.
The update was shared on X by Sika Official on Friday, April 4, 2025, urging road users to remain vigilant. "Road users and residents traveling along the Achimota Roundabout to Dzorwulu stretch of the N1 Highway are advised to exercise caution due to a recent accident involving two private vehicles," the post read.
The accident follows another tragic incident involving two former students of Achimota School, Davida Asante Boateng and Lilian Akorli, who lost their lives in a fatal accident on the same stretch on March 7, 2025.
