Kwame Jantuah, a leading member of the Convention People's Party (CPP), has criticised Rev John Ntim Fordjour for turning a sensitive security matter into what he called a 'media war.' He lamented that the actions of the Ranking Member on the Parliamentary Committee on Defence and Interior, could cause fear and panic in the country.

Sharing his sentiments on GHOne TV on April 4, 2025, Jantuah questioned the motive behind Ntim Fordjour's actions; suggesting that he was playing politics with a rather sensitive issue. "He is causing fear and panic among citizens.

If you get wind of a sensitive information that can jeopardise the country, do you run to the public to announce it? "You're a Member of Parliament and a committee member.

If for nothing at all, the first port of call should have been your committee and the police," he decried.
