Inspector-general of Police (IGP) Christian Tetteh Yohuno on Wednesday held a meeting with former IGPs, in Accra, aimed to provide guidance and share experiences that could enhance the administration and operations of the Ghana Police Service.
The gathering brought together experienced former IGPs, who had served in various capacities, to offer valuable insights to support the new IGP in his leadership role, focusing on improving security, combating crime and modernising the law enforcement agency.
A statement issued by the Public Affairs Department of the GPS, said during the meeting, Mr Yohuno expressed his gratitude to his predecessors for their dedication and contributions to the service over the years.
He emphasised the importance of teamwork and continuous improvement in policing strategies, to ensure the safety of all Ghanaians.
