In a video shared by GHOne on X on April 3, 2025, some residents expressed their displeasure over the matter and demanded the immediate return of GH¢100,000.00, an amount allegedly drawn from the constituency's Common Fund to support the traders.

They lamented that the constituency was in need of infrastructure and other developmental interventions, which could have been addressed with the funds the former MP donated to the traders.
