Former President of the Ghana Federation of Persons with Disabilities, Prince Debrah, has commended the ruling (NPP) and the opposition party for the policies outlined in their manifestos for PWDs. Both the NDC and NPP have pledged to roll out free tertiary education for PWDs. The (NDC) has pledged to provide free tertiary education to persons with disabilities if they win the December 7 general election. This policy is part of the NDC's manifesto, which aims to improve access to and the quality of education in Ghana. Vice President , who is also the presidential candidate for the NPP, announced plans to introduce free tertiary education scholarships for persons with disabilities (PWDs) if the party is elected.
