In light of recent media reports surrounding the theft of state-owned containers, John Jinapor, the Minister for Energy and Green Transition, has outlined steps being taken to address the issue and ensure accountability.
Speaking on the Asaase Breakfast Show, Jinapor acknowledged concerns about potential evidence tampering while emphasizing the need for action. "The solution for me is to track the containers using their serial numbers.
Whether somebody's stolen them or not, the system should show where the containers eventually ended up," Jinapor explained.
This approach, he believes, will allow for better tracking and resolution of the case.
