Former Member of Parliament for Odododiodio, Nii Lantey Vanderpuye, has praised Channel One TV and Citi FM for successfully organizing the highly attended Back to Your Village Food Festival, which took place on March 29 and 30, 2025.
Speaking on Breakfast Daily on Channel One TV on Thursday, April 3, Vanderpuye commended the event's execution, emphasizing its significance in celebrating Ghana's rich culinary heritage.
His remarks follow the conclusion of the festival, which attracted over 30,000 food lovers, cultural enthusiasts, and businesses eager to showcase Ghana's diverse gastronomy.
While applauding the organizers, Vanderpuye urged Citi FM and Channel One TV to improve transportation planning for future editions, noting the traffic disruptions caused by the event.
