The Minister of Energy, , has issued a stern warning to state-owned institutions that owe the Electricity Company of Ghana (ECG) to settle their debts or face electricity supply disruptions.

This, he said, would address the financial challenges facing the electricity company and promote accountability in the use of state resources.

The warning comes amid a growing scandal involving the disappearance of ECG containers at the Tema Port, which has sparked widespread concerns of corruption.
