The Former Greater Accra Regional Chairman of the National Democratic Congress (NDC), Joseph Ade Coker, has urged Ghanaians, particularly the Minority in Parliament, to exercise patience regarding the ongoing investigations into suspected cocaine trafficking, arguing that security agencies need time to build a strong case.
His comments come in response to calls from the Minority Caucus on National Security to urgently disclose the contents of cargo suspected to contain cocaine and cash, reportedly transported into the country by two suspicious aircraft.
The Minority, led by the Ranking Member on the Defence and Interior Committee of Parliament, Rev.
John Ntim Fordjour, raised concerns over the activities of AirMed Flight N823AM and Cavok Air Antonov An-12B, which landed at Kotoka International Airport in March 2025.
