Daniel Owusu Koranteng, the main suspect in the 2019 murder of investigative journalist Ahmed Suale, is scheduled to appear in court today, Wednesday, April 2.

Koranteng's arrest has drawn attention to his alleged involvement in the brutal killing of Suale, a journalist renowned for his investigations into corruption within Ghana's political landscape.

Suale, a key member of the Tiger Eye PI team led by Anas Aremeyaw Anas, was tragically murdered in Madina, Accra, in January 2019, sparking national and international outcry.

Investigators have pointed to Koranteng, also known by the alias Akwasi Amakye, as a significant figure in the case, alleging that he was near the scene of the crime when Suale was ambushed and shot at close range by assailants.
